Cookie Policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
This policy sets out the cookies and similar browser storage used by MoneyCalcs UK, and the choices available to you. It describes the website as it currently operates.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, also keep small amounts of information on your device.
They can be used to make a site work, to remember a preference, or to measure and personalise content and adverts. Only the first two of those apply to this website.
Essential cookies
MoneyCalcs UK does not currently set any tracking or identifying cookies of its own. The only browser storage used is strictly necessary: a single entry recording your cookie preference, and only once you have set one.
Your hosting provider may also use strictly necessary cookies for security purposes, such as protecting the site from abuse.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies are not currently in use. No analytics or measurement script is installed on this website, so no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is collected.
Advertising cookies
Advertising cookies are not currently in use. There is no advertising on this website, and no advertising or ad-measurement technology is installed — including Google AdSense, which is not installed on this site.
Other browser storage
Figures you enter into a calculator are held in the page while you use it and are cleared when you leave or reload it. They are not written to cookies, local storage or session storage, and are not sent to MoneyCalcs UK.
Two small entries are stored, both strictly necessary and neither identifying you: your cookie preference, kept in local storage so your choice can be respected on future visits; and a scroll-position entry kept in session storage by the site's page navigation, so returning to a previous page restores your place. The session-storage entry is discarded when you close the tab.
Future advertising
MoneyCalcs UK may introduce advertising in the future. If advertising technologies requiring consent are introduced, this Cookie Policy and the site's consent controls will be updated before those technologies are activated.
The same applies to analytics: nothing that requires consent will be switched on until consent can be requested and respected.
Managing your preferences
You can review and change your choices at any time using in the footer of any page. Because no optional technologies are currently active, everything optional is switched off by default.
You can also block or delete cookies and clear site storage through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean your preference cannot be remembered.
For information about other data handled by this website, see the Privacy Policy.
